If you are craving authentic Mumbai street food, this place is an absolute goldmine under the sky. The Vada Pav and Samosa here are hands down the best I have ever eaten in the entire USA.The Vada Pav is pure perfection. The batata vada features a flawless, crispy chickpea batter coating a perfectly spiced, pillowy potato filling. It is tucked into a fresh, soft pav slathered with that signature fiery dry garlic chutney and tangy green chutney that hits you with the perfect amount of heat. The Samosa is equally incredible. The pastry crust is beautifully flaky and golden, without an ounce of excess grease. Inside, the potato and pea stuffing is deeply aromatic and robustly seasoned, capturing that genuine, comforting street-side flavor profile that is so hard to find outside of India. From the execution to the spice blends, everything about these snacks feels uncompromisingly authentic. Definitely you need aroma tea with these. Finding street food of this caliber in the US is rare, and this spot has officially raised the bar.

Limited but amazing menu. Plus the owners are very nice to speak to - Millie & Krishna! I tried the chai, punugulu (maida vada) and veg Manchurian & hakka noodles. The red - coconut remains chutney, if they sold separately, I would have gotten in bulk. The punugulu were nice crispy with the perfect touch of spices. The Hakka noodles and Manchurian were spot on. And the adrak cardamon chai was correct amount of kadak on a windy day

Masala Route Food Truck is a must-visit for Indian street food lovers! We tried the vada pav and an Indo-Chinese comboβboth were absolutely delicious. The vada pav was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, just like Mumbai street style. The Indo-Chinese combo had bold, spicy flavors that really hit the spot. Fresh, authentic, and full of flavorβhighly recommend!

Food truck is in Self Gas station complex. Tried here couple times. Ordered punugulu, paneer frankee, mirchi bajji, ghee karam podi dosa, veg manchuria, combo manchuria & noodles and masala tea. All were tasty! Not mild not spicy, perfect fast-food of Indian. But price is slight expensive, after having food, price can be exceptional to support their hard work and freshly cooked and served food. Groceries they kept fresh inside truck. Looks hygienic. They even serve food to car, no need to get down when food is ready.
